Title: Campaign Services Director

About the Role
We offer strategic campaign consulting, helping our clients build successful campaigns and often providing the support needed for their execution. We also produce compelling paid communications in various mediums, from direct mail to video. The campaign services director will be the default primary point of contact in our electoral campaigns. You will be responsible for coordinating with candidates and their campaign teams, as well as managing the internal workflow of the Praxis team on these projects.

You understand that timelines and deadlines matter a lot in campaigns, as well as doing things right the first time. You appreciate the fast-changing, dynamic nature of electoral races and enjoy adapting to meet the moment. And you want to build a long-term career in this space with enduring relationships with our clients and stakeholders in the electoral space.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide on-call support for candidates and campaigns
- Collaborate on developing and updating campaign plans, tracking progress towards objectives
- Manage internal tracking of action items and activities on campaign projects
- Prepare and lead check-in meetings with campaigns
- Ensure proper campaign calendar management
- Support, oversee, and troubleshoot campaigns in their fundraising efforts, social media content, and political outreach
- Support voter list development and targeting
Needed Qualifications and Skills
- Prior campaign management experience
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with social media management and communications content development
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana, Canva, or other comparable platforms
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with graphic design, photography, or videography
- Proficiency in developing field programs and VAN voter file system
- Experience with SMS voter contact systems
- Experience with Oregon voter guide statement submissions
- Knowledge of campaign/nonprofit budgeting and cashflow, as well as Oregon’s campaign financing system and reporting process
- Ability to speak and write in languages other than English

Although this job will center on our electoral campaign work, we believe in a team approach that makes the most of everyone’s capabilities. That means in addition to campaign work, you will have an opportunity to collaborate on:
- Supporting efforts to pass legislation with communications & coalition building
- Assisting local governments with communications & community engagement
- Providing ongoing communications support or strategic planning to nonprofits
Compensation & Benefits
- $65,000- $75,000+, based on experience
- We work remotely; This position is based in Oregon or Southwest Washington. Episodic travel for client meetings or campaign events will be required
- We provide medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents
- We offer a 401K/IRA retirement plan with matching contributions after six months
- Employees receive 15 days of paid time off a year (pro-rated to your start date) and are encouraged to take it, plus 8 observed holidays and a winter holiday break
